MAY 17^th(Saturday) - NEW! "THE DAY OF THE RANGERS" 12 HOUR REAL LIFE SCENARIO
This will be a new scenario game that will go all-day until midnight! The Delta Ops Scenario Paintball Team and Exotic Sportz are very proud to present the: "THE DAY OF THE RANGERS" On October 3rd 1993, during a daring daylight raid against the Somali Clan Habr Gidr, the fighters of Warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid shot down two Blackhawk helicopters of the American Task Force Ranger. Their mission to abduct two top lieutenants was supposed to take an hour, but turned into the longest sustained firefight since the Vietnam War. America’s military records this as The Battle of the Black Sea, but in Somalia it will forever be remembered as The Day of the Rangers. With the story based on this heroic battle Hell Survivors returns to Scenario paintball, with 10 hours of paintball, including night play! Task Force Ranger (the Americans) will be out numbered 2:1 to 3:1. In addition Clan Habr Gidr (Somalis) will reinsert/respawn every 5 min., versus the Americans every 15 min. To balance this, the US will have tank support and medics allowing them to be “healed” up to three times before they must return to the dead zone. Grenades, mines, smoke, grenade launchers, night vision, and mortars are highly encouraged. Additionally, we will be using LAW/RPG rules, which will have the ability to destroy bunkers, soft buildings, and tanks. Schedule: 9:00am: Registration and radar opens 10:30am: Orientation 12pm- 6pm: Game on 6pm-8pm: Dinner break 7:00pm: Radar opens (re-radar for night play req’d) 8pm-Midnight: Night play REGISTRATION TIME: 9:00am & GAME TIME: 12:00 Noon - 12:00 Midnight (dinner break 6:00 to 8:00pm) Pre-Register before April 5th and SAVE $10.00 $30.00 - Gate Price $40.00. The SPPL (Scenario Paintball Players League) is a 10 vs 10 national competitive outdoor paintball league that recognizes teams who maintain exceptional sportsmanship while on their quest to become a better players. This is demonstrated by prize packages for “best sportsmanship” that are equal to the top scoring teams prize package and is decided by the votes of their fellow competition and referee staff.
